This is a house of regular plant, square, with sides perpendicular to the long country roads that lead in the market square (Piazza Minozzi) so as to be in the heart of town.

Inside were once precious and famous frescoes attributed to Niccolòda Varallo, with stories of Griselda (from the famous novel decameroniana) and the astrological cycle, commissioned by Pier Maria Rossi, and in 1897 removed and transferred to the Museo del Castello Sforzesco in Milan. The ceiling of the room on the first floor where they were staying the frescoes still has a sky-blue background, perhaps alluding to the deeds Rossiane.
